Infrastructure & systems
Set up a server, move an application, fix a network issue, or get your hosting into better shape.
I’m Jorge. I’ve helped game developers, website owners, and small SaaS teams with their technical work. Today I take on infrastructure, automation, private AI setups, troubleshooting, and the jobs that keep getting pushed aside. Tell me what’s going on. I’ll tell you how I can help.
Have a server that keeps breaking? A website that needs work? An idea for a tool your team could use? You don’t need to hire a full-time engineer to get started.
Not everything fits neatly into a service category. These are the areas I spend the most time in.
Set up a server, move an application, fix a network issue, or get your hosting into better shape.
Make deployments less painful. Automate the work your team keeps doing manually.
Build a small internal tool, connect an API, or give your team a simpler way to get something done.
Slow apps, random outages, missing alerts, and problems that keep returning after a restart.
I've set up models on private GPUs and servers. I can handle the model deployment, inference service, access, monitoring, and integrations for your setup.
Something else? Send it over. I'll be upfront about whether I can do it.
Tell me about itClient projects, private AI deployments, and enterprise engineering work. Here are a few things I’ve spent time building and fixing.
Worked with game developers on the infrastructure behind their projects and the cloud work that comes with running it.
See the work ↗ SELF-HOSTED AI / GPU SERVERSDeployed local language models, configured GPU inference environments, and set up private model access.

See the work ↗My full-time roles have involved production systems, infrastructure automation, and operations in demanding environments. Here are a few examples.
Built AWX and Ansible workflows backed by Git so infrastructure tasks could be run consistently instead of pieced together by hand.
Supported business-critical systems and financial-market operations, including incident response, deployments, and disaster recovery testing.
Built internal alternatives to paid tools and helped consolidate infrastructure to reduce ongoing cost and maintenance.
This section covers work done in full-time engineering roles. Client work is featured separately on the Selected Work page. Past employers are not Layer Frame clients or endorsers.
One fix, a short project, or some ongoing help. We can figure out scope and pricing before you commit to anything.

I’ll ask a few questions, lay out the options, and give you a clear scope and price.
You work with me directly. I’ll keep you informed and document what I change.

I'm an infrastructure engineer, but the work I take on isn't limited to infrastructure.
I’ve worked in financial-market operations and enterprise infrastructure, and I’ve helped game developers with cloud work, website owners, and smaller SaaS teams. I like figuring out why something isn’t working, fixing it, and making sure the same problem doesn’t come back next week.
Layer Frame is how I take on independent projects outside my full-time work. I’ll talk through the problem with you, be clear about what I can take on, and do the engineering myself. If a project isn’t a good fit, I’ll say so.
Here’s how I usually work with new clients.
Yes. I’m happy to hear about a small fix, a script, a migration, or a short period of support.
Tell me what you’re trying to get working. We can work out what sort of help you need from there.
For defined projects, I can quote a fixed price. For open-ended work, we can use an hourly arrangement. We’ll agree before any billable work starts.
Yes. I've deployed self-hosted models on GPU hardware and worked on the services around them. If you have an existing server or are starting from scratch, we can figure out what fits your workloads and budget.
I do. You’ll talk directly with me, from the first call through delivery.
Tell me what’s broken, what you want to build, or what keeps slipping to the bottom of your team’s list. The first conversation is free.
